Hindering Apprehension: On 07/08/2018 officers were called to Knight’s Inn in reference to subject who possibly had outstanding warrants. They made contact with several subjects in one of the rooms, and eventually located subjects hiding in the bathroom. One of the subjects who had been hiding, gave a false name to the officers and a female who was with him tried to confirm the false identity. A second female had initially stated that there was no one in the room before the two were found hiding.
Officers arrested 38 year old Tasha Alexander of Berea KY, 60 year old Linda Baker of Crab Orchard KY, and 40 year old Steven Saylor of Berea KY.
Alexander and Baker were both charged with Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension 2nd Degree.
Saylor was charged with Giving an Officer False Identifying Information, in addition to his 5 outstanding arrest warrants.
Public Intoxication: On 07/10/2018 officers were called to a residence on Richmond Road in reference to a suspicious person knocking on the caller’s door. This occurred just after 3:00am and the subject was shirtless and seemed confused. He showed other signs of impairment and was placed under arrest.
Officers charged 32 year old Joshua Mintz of Berea KY with Public Intoxication.
Drug Arrest: On 07/09/2018 officers were called to the area of Glades Road in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located on Morgan Street and showed several signs of impairment. The subject was in possession of a white pill bottle containing 5 Xanax tablets.
Officers arrested 41 year old Marvin Knuckles of Berea KY and charged him with Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Public Intoxication, and Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container.
Alcohol Intoxication: On 07/08/2018 an officer observed a male subject stumbling on Walnut Meadow Road in the early morning hours. The subject showed several signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest.
Officers charged 22 year old Devon Blanton of Berea KY with Alcohol Intoxication.
Public Intoxication: On 07/08/2018 officers were called to the area of Chestnut Street and North Broadway in reference to a female lying in the roadway. The subject was sitting up when they arrived, but she showed several signs of impairment.
Officers arrested 35 year old Stephanie Ambrose of Berea KY and charged her with Public Intoxication.
Receiving Stolen Property: On 07/08/2018 officers received information about the location of a stolen vehicle out of Rockcastle County. The vehicle was located at a residence on West Jefferson Street, and they made contact with a male subject at the residence.
After further investigation officers arrested 29 year old Mitchell Nolan of Livingston KY and charged him with Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000.
Hindering Apprehension: On 07/05/2018 officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after receiving a call of suspicious activity at Goodwill. The driver of the vehicle stated that he was the only person in the car. Officers eventually located a female hiding in the rear of the vehicle under a blanket. She was identified, and it was discovered that she had an active arrest warrant.
The driver of the vehicle, 48 year old Curtis Justice of Berea KY, was arrested and charged with Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension 2nd Degree.
Drug Arrest: On 07/04/2018 officers were called to Village Drive in reference to a female lying down in the roadway. The subject was located still lying down, and showed several signs of impairment. A small plastic baggie containing suspected Methamphetamine was located on the sidewalk next to her.
Officers arrested 32 year old Christy Henry of Irvine KY and charged her with Public Intoxication and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine). When she was booked into the Madison County Detention Center, another baggie of suspected Methamphetamine was located on her person. She was also charged with Promoting Contraband 1st Degree.
Drug Arrest: On 07/04/2018 officers arrested 36 year old Kelly Muncy of Richmond KY on an outstanding arrest warrant. When she was booked into the Madison County Detention Center, a small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine was located on her person.
She was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Promoting Contraband 1st Degree.
