Beshear: Kentucky Legal Community Raises 318 Tons of Food to Benefit Children In Need

During the second-annual Kentucky Legal Food Frenzy, the state’s legal community donated more than 630,000 pounds of food to benefit children in need, Attorney General Andy Beshear announced today.

The 2018 campaign, which lasted from March 15 through April 2, was an opportunity for Kentucky lawyers and legal staff to compete outside the courtroom to donate food and raise funds. Proceeds generated help Kentucky’s seven regional food banks prepare for increased food demand during the summer months.
